Advantages of English
According as internationalization condition, English is an international language of communication. More and more people want to learn English, because English has many advantages. Let us look at the following examples for illustration.
You are able to communicate with a foreigner directly. For example, when you travel in abroad, you will not need a tourism guide. You can speak English to communicate with foreigners. You can ask questions, go shopping, and chat with others and so on. You will not need a translator; you can do it by yourself. Of course, you will save amount of money.
If you can speak English, that will help you to understand another culture. Because all culture almost seems to translate into English. You can see it from any museum whatever Taiwan, Japan, or America. You will know and understand one's background. Knowing new friends is easier.
From my work experiences, English makes us easier to work or do business with another country. All of us come from different countries, how to use a language what we both understand. That is English. For instance, we send email in English and talk in English to discuss sales and shipping. I also work and communicate with my overseas co-workers. If I don't understand English, I only can use my body language to express what I want to say. But it is not easy and correct to show what I mean.
