Lifestyle of South and North of Taiwan

We live in Taiwan, a small beautiful island, but there are many differences between South and North of Taiwan. First, people in North of Taiwan has an urban lifestyle and South of Taiwan has a rural lifestyle. Therefore, the type of job in South is labor intensive. There are many large factories and more farms than in North. However, in North of Taiwan, there are mainly companies and the production is automatic. Second, the flavor is different. People in South of Taiwan like sweet taste but people in North of Taiwan like salty. You will find that there are much more drink stores in South. This is not only about beverages but also about meal. People in South of Taiwan like to add sugar into cooking. Third, people in South of Taiwan is friendly, simple, and hospitable. If you have any problems, like getting lost, they will help you enthusiastically. People in North of Taiwan are more reserved, they have to protect themselves. As to which, different areas make different culture background. what lifestyle is better, it depends on what you like.
